PCL Group raises workshop efficiency with vehicle lifts03 September 2018

PCL Group is reporting a 10% improvement in workshop efficiency at its Maidstone service centre, since acquiring new vehicle lifting equipment from TotalKare.

The two-post lift and T8DC cable-free mobile column lift were installed in two days, minimising disruption at the MAN dealership.

The electro-hydraulic post has a base-free design, and is said to be suitable for workshops dealing with large fleets of trucks and vans.

TotalKare’s T8DC cable-free mobile column lift can be powered from a 230V wall socket, features a hydraulic lifting mechanism and can lift up to 7,500kg per column.

John Vickery, PCL Group’s managing director, says: “By installing these new vehicle lifts from TotalKare, we have ensured that we can continue delivering unparalleled customer service to our clients, while also offering them shorter turnarounds due to the faster lift speeds and the reduction in manual labour.”
