SMMT communications manager Janet Wilkinson and FTA director of global and European policy Chris Welsh have both been awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

Two senior Wright executives past and present have also been recognised in the Queen's Birthday Honours List. Mark Nodder, chairman and CEO, has been awarded the OBE, while Jack Kernohan has become an MBE.

Richard Zink has been promoted to director of marketing and sales for the DAF board of management. He will succeed Ron Bonsen, who retires at the end of September. Zink joined DAF in 1999 and held various positions, rising to managing director of the DAF cab and axle plant in Westerlo, Belgium.

Keltruck and Scania (Great Britain) have announced that Andrew Jamieson is to move to Scania (GB) to take up the new position of operations and risk director. He is now responsible for overseeing management of Scania's UK contracts, rental and used vehicle portfolios.

Meanwhile, Richard Lawrie has joined the Scania (GB) bus and coach retail sales team, covering the south east region as area account manager. He was formerly in after sales.

Jon Clark is now southern area field service engineer at Irizar UK, moving from Axe-Vale Coaches of Weston-super-Mare where he was engineering manager. He joins senior field service engineer Darren Bradshaw and aftersales manager Dave Gregory, while the firm seeks a third member of the mobile service team. Meanwhile, Natalie Bacon will now assist customer support manager Rob McDonald, and Helena Young becomes sales support co-ordinator, reporting to business development manager Julie Hartley.

TIP Trailer Services has promoted Mike Furnival to the new position of managing director for TIP in the UK and Ireland. TIP's European marketing director Karl Davies has now returned to the company's UK and Ireland operation as its new commercial director.

Emese Weissenbacher is the new chief financial officer at Mann+Hummel. She started at the filtration specialist in 1994 as an intern in the HR department.

Hankook Tire Europe has appointed Antal Takacs marketing director, responsible for European pricing, products marketing and distribution channel management.

Mlvin Rolling has been appointed to the new position of head of UK facilities at Autoglass, bringing together fleet, property, and health and safety. He joined Autoglass in 1982 as a trainee windscreen technician and has since held numerous operational roles including branch, network, and regional manager.

Tracey Perry is Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles' new national fleet manager, leading a team of area fleet managers. She will report to Chris Black, head of fleet.

Frank Wernert, who has been supporting the development management team of Kobil Systems, has been promoted to development manager, reporting to Joachim Hechler, CTO of the mobile security platform provider.
