"Now our customers will have expanded access and improved delivery timing with bulk delivery," says Martin Wright, managing director of Petro-Canada Lubricants Europe.
"The growth in our distribution network strengthens our ability to meet the demands of our customers in the fleet, power generation, construction and mining segments," he says.
Wright explains that Petro-Canada is investing in local infrastructure and expanding its long-term partnerships with Standic and Staalduinen Logistics. .
"We are working with our partners to build new tanks to meet the immediate and long-term needs of our European distributors and customers," he says.
One of the outcomes will be an improved customer promise on delivery for bulk products.
Full truck deliveries for the highest demand bulk products will now be ready for transport in just two days.
Wright says this means bulk delivery within just three to four days for countries such as Germany, France, Belgium and Denmark.
Additionally, the number of products available in bulk is set to more than double this year and Wright adds that the expansion plan has commitments to double the product offering again by 2020, with increased tankage.
