Positive reports from CV Operator Show 201026 May 2010

Official audited figures from April's CV Operator Show have been revealed, and confirm that attendance for the three-day event was just short of 10,000, at 9,452 visitors.

"The show partners were never in any doubt that this show would be a success and these figures just confirm it," comments Geoff Dunning, chief executive of the Road Haulage Association (RHA).

"The bottom line is that, although not on the same scale as the 2008 CV Show, we managed, over the same three days, to attract one third of the visitors," continues Dunning.

"Considering the economic climate over the past 12 months, I'm sure I am not alone in feeling even more optimistic for the 2011 CV Show."

The RHA was one of the event's show partners, together with Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders and IRTE Services.
