Prestons of Potto gets on top of fleet maintenance with Freeway 16 December 2015

Haulage specialist Prestons of Potto has gone live with Freeway’s fleet management system. Which it says is now managing vehicle maintenance, inspections and MOTs without fuss.

“We don’t want something that is overly complicated to manage our workshop, and that’s where Freeway exactly meets our needs,” comments Stephen Deighton, commercial manager with Prestons of Potto.

“Freeway is a straightforward solution to our current requirements,” he continues.

“Everything we do need is there, including great support, and we also know that the system has the capacity and flexibility to adapt to meet our future needs as they change.”

Deighton explains that the Freeway system captures and analyses maintenance data for all of the fleet based at its head office and three depots – tracking maintenance, repairs, parts used and running costs.

Prestons of Potto accountant Andrew Walker says the system is easy to use – which is also important.

“We needed something that would be up and running within a short time frame and didn’t require a steep learning curve, and Freeway’s system met those criteria,” he states.
