Process management forum created after CILT merger10 February 2011

Process Management Data (PMD) is a new professional forum launched by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), following its merger with time management specialist Commercial Work Data.

CILT says the forum will cover all of its eight professional sectors: supply chain; transport planning; rail; active travel and travel planning; bus and coach; ports, maritime and waterways; freight forwarding; and aviation.

It aims to help transport operators improve efficiency, productivity and time management.

Peter Newman, current chairman of CWD says: "We are delighted that this link-up with CILT will secure the long-term future and development of our proven data and systems."

The Institute has also launched a range of short courses to complement this forum aimed at people working in warehousing, retail and administration.
