Professional engineering registration workshops open at the CV Show09 April 2015

The SOE says it will be offering visitors to next week’s massive CV Show (14—16 April 2015, NEC, Birmingham) the chance to find out more about professional engineering registration with the Engineering Council.

Registration workshops will be staged twice daily (10am and 2pm) throughout the three-day exhibition, with visitors being advised on the value of professional registration to EngTech, IEng and CEng, and how engineers and technicians working in the road transport sector should go about it.

Visitors to the SOE/IRTE stand will also have the chance to try out the UK's first ever virtual reality spray painting machine.

Pioneered for use in the body repair sector for skills analysis and to train apprentices, the machine is on loan from Bristol-based S&B Automotive Academy.

Those wishing to register their interest for the workshops can do so by emailing registration@soe.org.uk or by turning up to the stand (Hall 5 5G71) 15 minutes beforehand.

The Society of Operations Engineers is the umbrella organisation for the IRTE (Institute of Road Transport Engineers).
