R2c Online founder announces departure17 September 2019

R2c Online has announced that Nick Walls, the company’s founder and managing director, will step down early next year to pursue other interests.

The news follows the software provider’s acquisition this year by KeyFuels, a subsidiary of FLEETCOR Technologies.

In a statement, the company said Walls (pictured) will continue to work with the leadership team on “key strategic initiatives” while his successor is identified, during which time it is “business as usual”.

“I am immensely proud of everything we have achieved at r2c. From the seed of an idea in 2003, r2c has become the de-facto standard SaaS platform in the UK for commercial vehicle compliance and maintenance,” said Walls.

He added: “I will leave the business knowing it is in great shape, with new owners who are committed to developing the company even further.”
