Called the Master ZE (zero emission), it will be offered in six versions – four panel vans with two roof heights, with load space of between 8-13m3, and two platform cab options with load space of up to 19m3. The platform cabs are suitable for a range of conversions, including chilled, from Renault’s Pro+ network.
Designed for last-mile urban deliveries, the Master ZE is said to have a range of 74 miles with its 33kWh battery pack, with a full charge taking six hours using a 32A/7.4kW wall box.
Top speed is 62mph; this can be limited to 50mph using an Eco Mode function.
Renault says costs and full UK specifications will be released in Q2.
The Master ZE will also be offered with a new fleet management solution, called Easy Connect. On-board telematics will enable vehicle location and condition to be monitored, as well as identifying nearest charging points.
