Renault dealer Sparks expands into Wiltshire with £1.5m acquisition18 December 2015
Renault dealer Sparks Commercial Services has extended its network by acquiring Complete Commercials, in Swindon,.
Operating as Sparks Commercials Swindon, the 1.25-acre site close to J15 of the M4 provides van and truck sales as well as service support.
Sparks already has facilities in Southampton, Portsmouth and Poole. This new Swindon dealership will sell the full Renault Trucks’ range, from 2.8 to 44 tonnes, as well as providing full aftersales support for Renault and other makes of vehicle.
It also has an upgraded service van fleet to provide 24/7 roadside assistance for the Swindon area.
Commenting on the decision to expand Sparks’ reach into Wiltshire, owner Julie Spark, says: “Complete was up for sale because the previous owner wished to retire after 28 successful years and this provided us with the ideal opportunity for our company in the perfect location – a natural progression in line with our expansion plans.
“This is a significant investment for Sparks and, as Renault Trucks has gained a great reputation for performance and reliability, we are seeing our vehicle parc grow so we look forward to welcoming both new and existing customers to our new Swindon site.”
