TruckSimulator is a driving simulation game in which players use a vehicle in operational situations, driving on work site, urban environments and open roads.
They can select from Renault Trucks T, C, K and D range vehicles.
The application is available as a free download on the App Store and Google Play.
"With the TruckSimulator app, Renault Trucks offers the general public a wide variety of driving situations that correspond to those drivers can come up against throughout their careers," states Franck Nallet, who is in charge of digital communication at Renault Trucks.
"This application puts the Renault Trucks T, C, K and D into context and enables everyone to discover our Euro 6 range in an entertaining way."
Players first choose the driving environment, which determines the type of assignments they will have to carry out.
If they choose long distance, for example, their objective will be to achieve the highest journey speed, while at the same time minimising fuel consumption, in line with hauliers' priorities.
Meanwhile, players going for heavy construction will be given the task of keeping their entire load on board at all times.
