The latest additions bring the operator’s tally for the year so far to six Renault Range T460s.
Supplied by Sparks Commercial Services on a full R&M contract hire deal through BRS, the Range Ts were selected for their reliability, fuel efficiency, service and back-up, according to JHS Logistics managing director Mohsen Hasham.
“We set up in January 2016 and approached a few truck manufacturers to discuss our requirements,2 explains Hasham.
“As we were a start-up, some of them were hesitant to work with us, but Renault Trucks, Sparks and BRS took the time to understand our business and had confidence in our plans.”
Hasham says that, beyond that, one of the points that attracted him to the Range T was its reputation for reliability and robustness.
“The trucks certainly have impressed,” he continues. “We are also getting great fuel returns, consistently between 9 and 9.5mpg.
“This, together with our partnership with Sparks, who are flexible and accommodate our service requests well, means we have been very happy overall.”
