Renault’s all-electric Master ZE now available in the UK & Ireland01 October 2018
Renault Trucks has announced that the Renault ZE Master – the first vehicle in its new all-electric line-up – is now available to order from dealerships in the UK and Ireland.
The Master ZE comes in six variants – four panel vans and two platform cabs – and is designed for last-mile deliveries as well as a range of other applications through Renault’s ‘Ready for Business’ range.
The van offers the same load volume of 13m3 as a conventional diesel Master, as the 33kWh lithium-ion batteries are mounted under the floor.
With a payload of up to 1,128kg, the vehicle can cover up to 120km (75 miles) on a single charge, with a full recharge taking six hours.
Safety features include a reversing camera, reversing radar and wide-view mirror as standard. It is also equipped with the ZE voice alert system to warn pedestrians of its approach at speeds of up to 30kph (19mph).
