Reynolds Diplomat’s move up to Volvo B11R is natural progression 09 August 2013

Volvo coach operator Reynolds Diplomat has stated operating its first B11R coaches, having added two, each with Jonckheere bodywork, to its fleet of 25 vehicles.

Each vehicle is fitted with 53 passenger seats and has two TVs, DVD player, sound system, air conditioning and a rear server area, with fridge. The coaches have also been specified with Alcoa Durabright alloy wheels.

Both were specified with the fuel-efficient Volvo D11C, six-cylinder diesel engine.

According to Reynolds Diplomat boss Richard Reynolds, first-class driveability and exceptional torque ensure that the vehicles runs smoothly.

"We've specified Volvo coaches for a number of years now, previously having had Volvos on the B9R chassis," he states.

"For us it feels very much like a natural progression to add the B11Rs to our quality fleet."
