Roger Dyson Hydraloader boosts Robert Brownlie fleet02 September 2010

The arrival of another Hydraloader 5000SLa brings the number of Dyson vehicles on Robert Brownlie's fleet to seven.

Brownlie's new Hydraloader is mounted on a 12-tonne Renault Midlum chassis with crew cab, which accommodates six passengers as well as the driver. Dyson's SLa (Super Low approach) deck offers a loading angle of just 4.9° and has a design capacity of 5,000kg.

Managing director Robert Brownlie says: "The truck's specification makes it extremely versatile – the low approach angle means that cars with very low ground clearance, or caravans and trailers with centre axles and long overhangs, can be loaded safely without risk of damage to any bodywork. And the 5,000kg capacity means it will also carry light commercial vehicles with ease."

And he adds: "We've tried the rest but in my opinion nobody in Britain offers a better-built vehicle or a higher level of service than Roger Dyson."
