Rygor Invests in technicians’ future with irtec rollout 02 March 2016

Rygor, the Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles dealer group, says it intends to continue investing in technicians at all of its 20-plus workshops by going for the IRTE’s irtec technician accreditation.

According to Rygor owner/director Paul Reed, obtaining an licence enhances technicians’ skill-sets and indicates an ability of the highest calibre.

“It is our commitment to our team that we will invest in their expertise, so they have the knowledge and competence to carry out their roles to the highest level,” states Reed.

“We believe that building and developing confident team members is of the highest importance as it allows them to further their career and ultimately enjoy their job,” he continues.

“This training will not only help enhance our team members, but will also benefit customers as they can be sure that highly trained individuals are working on their vehicles,” he adds.

“Paul Reed and the team at Rygor have made an extremely positive contribution to the rollout of irtec,” comments John Parry, chairman of the irtec steering group.

“They have led the way – resulting in a very positive involvement from Mercedes-Benz UK and the network."
