Scania announces coach deals with New Adventure and Omega05 May 2015

Scania has announced two more orders for its coaches, with one Irizar i6 and two Tourers for New Adventure Travel, and five tri-axle Touring coaches for Omega Travel.

Cardiff-based New Adventure has taken delivery of two 12.45m-long K 360 IB4x2 Scania Irizar i6 vehicles, as well as its first Scania Touring coach, based on the K 410 EB4x2 chassis.

The two-axle i6 coaches feature powered entrances and main locker doors, Bosch audio/video with two monitors, extra-dark tinted glazing, servery and washroom.

The Scania Touring is equipped with Lane Departure Warning and Adaptive Cruise Control technology and has powered entrances, parallel lifting main lockers, 57 Kiel passenger seats with leather headrests, three-point seat belts, footrests and seat back tables, and a servery plus fridge.

Milton Keynes-based Omega Travel's latest additions are five 13.7m-long Scania Touring tri-axle coaches – one Euro 5 and four Euro 6.

The 410bhp SCR-only Scania K 410 EB 6x2*4 Euro 6 chassis are equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning and fully automated Opticruise gear selection system.

Each is equipped with 57 Kiel passenger seats with three-point seat belts, seatback tables and footrests, Bosch audio/video equipment and two monitors, parallel lifting main locker doors, powered entrances, washroom, servery/fridge and climate control.
