Scania announces top flight dealership at Gatwick31 January 2018

Scania (Great Britain) has announced the construction of another South East dealership, which will be located off the M23 close to Gatwick Airport.

The new facility will be known as Scania Gatwick and will be constructed to the same design concept as Scania Maidstone, another greenfield development which was inaugurated in December 2015.

Scania Gatwick will feature four drive-through workshop bays, including facilities for gas-powered and Petroleum Regulations vehicles and an ATF lane.

It will also feature automatic lighting, an in-house recycling station, a sustainable water drainage system and photo-voltaic roof panels.

A full Scania parts service will be offered and the site will house both new and used truck sales operations, as well as rental trucks.

Scania Gatwick (see artist’s impression, pictured) is due to open in late autumn this year or early next year.

“When complete, our current Scania branches in Lingfield and Lewes will be amalgamated into the new facility, with all employees transferring across,” says Adrian Inscoe, Scania’s regional executive director.

“We are now very much looking forward to the opening and going on to deliver the very highest levels of service to all commercial vehicle operators in the area.”
