Occupying a 7.8-acre plot at logistics hub Eurocentral, the new-build site will replace the existing operation located only four miles away in Bellshill and is due for completion in the fourth quarter of 2021.
It includes a state-of-the-art workshop, parts department, office accommodation and extensive secure parking.

As our latest investment in Scotland, Eurocentral follows the 2015 redevelopment of our Inverness site and move in 2019 into larger, refurbished premises in Dundee.
Situated between Glasgow and Edinburgh, the new facility is adjacent to the M8 near its junction with the M73/M74. In addition to 12 workshop bays, the premises will house four Balzer inspection pits, an ATF lane and an internal automated truck washing system.Outside the fully-concreted yard will provide secure parking for 50 trucks and trailers.
The site’s energy usage will be fossil-free. It will feature a high-efficiency underfloor air-source heating system, sustainable drainage and environmental containment in accordance with local regulations, water recycling in its vehicle wash, LED lighting throughout and roof-mounted energy-generating photovoltaic panels. As 2021 also marks the arrival of Scania’s new range of electrified vehicles, the Eurocentral premises will be ready for the maintenance and charging of the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and full battery electric (BEV) trucks.
