Scania reveals more on truck rental plans 10 March 2011

Hot on the heels of Scania's announcement that it will grow its truck rental operations, the manufacturer has revealed that a truck rental depot will be opened on the West Bromwich premises of Scania dealer Keltruck.

"Our ongoing analysis of the market shows an increasing demand for a premium truck rental service in the West Midlands," comments Steve Martin, general manager for Scania Truck Rental.

"Working in conjunction with Keltruck, we have been able to respond rapidly to this developing situation and our new depot will open in April," he continues.

"By providing our full range of products and services from day one, our aim is to support the area's operators by providing a high quality, flexible long- and short-term service with all the benefits that renting from Scania brings," he adds.

Keltruck's managing director Andrew Jamieson says he is delighted to welcome Scania Truck Rental to West Bromwich.

"The opening of a new branch on our premises reinforces the one-stop offering available to the area's transport operators from Scania and Keltruck today," he comments.
