Scania’s Euro 6 benefits set in stone for aggregates business09 May 2014

Aggregates business GD Harries & Sons has extended its 50-strong fleet with three Euro 6 Scania vehicles.

Two are P410 day cab trucks with Bulkrite insulated aluminium bodies, fitted with Edbro front end tipping gear. The third is a G450 tipper, fitted with a VBG drawbar coupling.

The vehicles were supplied by dealer Keltruck.

Ian Harris, managing director of the Pembrokeshire-based aggregates business, says a long-term relationship with his dealer meant a clear understanding of operational needs.

"In light of this, we are discussing the acquisition of further units," he says.
