Showtime at new-look British Commercial Vehicle Museum 02 March 2020
The British Commercial Vehicle Museum, in Leyland, is staging its Spring Transport Show in April, where visitors can see a host of classic cars, trucks and buses.
Taking place on Sunday 19 April, there will also be rides around town in a 1927 Leyland Lioness, said to have been used by King George V and Queen Mary.
The museum reopened last year after a major refurbishment, which includes a new cafe and conference suite.
The new-look exhibition hall features a TimeLine exhibit, tracing the history of transport, from horse-drawn buses to today’s hybrid and electric vehicles.
Other special events this year include an American Roadshow and a Great British Lorries day. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday each week.
