Specialist Fleet Services named as government supplier06 June 2019

Contract hire and fleet management business Specialist Fleet Services (SFS) has achieved government-approved supplier status for commercial vehicles and related services.

SFS has been named as a supplier for the vehicle lease, fleet management and flexible rental solutions framework, managed by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), the government’s public procurement organisation.

Bob Sweetland, managing director of SFS, says: “CCS is the biggest procurement organisation in the UK, and we are thrilled to be a named supplier.

“We work closely with many local authorities in the UK and we are keen to take any measures that add value, increase efficiency and save time or money.”

CCS aims to help the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring goods and services.

Northampton-based SFS has been delivering contract hire services to the public and private sector since 1992. With a network of workshops and its own municipal vehicle hire division (CTS Hire), SFS can provide the full range of vehicle and plant solutions, from short-term vehicle hire to comprehensive fleet management.
