Temperature-controlled trailers heading for Nantwich 08 May 2012

Dairy products supplier FJ Need Foods, of Nantwich, has taken delivery of two Cool Liner refrigerated trailers from Krone Trailers UK, which, says the company, should be virtually cost-free to operate.

"Our company has built its success on providing the highest quality products and, in turn, we rely on high calibre suppliers to help make this possible," comments FJ Need's fleet transport manager, Simon Platt.

"In this regard, we chose Krone because they are simply a better standard of temperature controlled trailer and are very cost- effective to run," he continues.

"These two trailers will be with us for three years and I don't expect to see many maintenance bills."

The reefers will operate at zero degrees and deliver to towns and cities throughout the UK and Europe. Each trailer remains with the same tractor and driver, thereby ensuring maximum accountability and control.

"We originally had one Krone trailer, and it proved to be a valuable asset," states Platt.

"The drivers liked it and it was definitely built to last. This time, we decided to repeat our investment in a quality product with the knowledge that we can expect reliability and low cost of ownership."
