Thompsons and Hyva offer new highlights for Tip-Ex29 April 2016

Highlights at this year’s TIP-Ex Show (2—4 June 2016, Harrogate International Centre) will include Thompsons’ new Paymaster tipping trailer and a new 8x4 Scania fitted with Hyva’s ultra-light FCA 129 tipping cylinder.

Thompsons’ all-steel Paymaster tipping body is aimed at stone and aggregate hauliers and offers a payload of around 28 tonnes, according to the firm.

The company says it will also show a range of rigid tippers around Tip-Ex, including five vehicles from sister company Charlton – as well as launching Thompsons Total, described as an integrated aftersales deal that starts by mimicing chassis manufacturers nationwide customer back–up offering.

Meanwhile, Hyva’s FCA 129 is designed for 32 tonne sand and aggregates work, and at 430kg is claimed to be the lightest 8x4 tipping gear in the UK – not least due to its plastic oil tank, which shave about 20kg off a steel equivalent.

Also making its debut on Hyva’s stand will be one of the company’s latest cranes – its HA33, which is equipped with full remote control – representing a new market sector for Hyva UK beyod the construction supply chain.
