Tiger moves into new £22m facility15 February 2019

Trailer maker and commercial vehicle bodybuilder Tiger Trailers has moved into its new, £22 million manufacturing facility in Winsford, Cheshire, and says it now has scope to double production within the next 12 months.

The 20-acre site comprises 168,000sq ft of facilities for chassis fabrication, body assembly, paint and final finish, and Tiger says up to 200 new jobs will be created.

The complex also includes a 3D engineering suite, a training facility and a full height showroom – said to be the first for a UK trailer manufacturer.

The company has also made several key manufacturing appointments, including new manufacturing director Richard Else, a highly rated automotive industry professional bringing a wealth of experience from Jaguar Land Rover and McLaren Automotive.
