Tiger opens doors to 2018 apprentice intake20 September 2018

Tiger Trailers has welcomed its latest cohort of engineering apprentices, who will be the first to benefit from a training facility at its new Winsford factory, due to open in December.

The 12 recruits join 25 other apprentices already in the business, all of whom are studying for the Level 2 Engineering Manufacturing qualification, designed in partnership with Warrington & Vale Royal College.

“When we started working on the plans for the new site, the inclusion of a dedicated area for the training and development of our team was an integral part of the design process,” says Steven Cartwright, Tiger’s joint managing director.

“It will truly set us apart from the rest of the industry and allow us to grow our apprenticeship programme even further.”

Tiger’s apprenticeship programme began when the business was established in 2014 and the first graduates have now taken up full-time roles within the company.
