Thompsons has announced that it will be launching a new, comprehensive aftercare package for tipper trucks and bodywork at next month’s Tip-Ex event (2-4 June; Harrogate).
The service, called Thompsons Total, is designed to maximise vehicle uptime from day one and incorporates a three-year warranty, field service support and a web-based eParts programme.
Thompsons says its aftersales service activity has grown by 50% in the past year; it is now the first tipper bodybuilder to offer on-site support to operators wherever they are located, thanks to its seven group sites plus a network of accredited dealers.
Its eParts programme was launched three years ago and is going “from strength to strength”, says the company. It backs this up with Thompsons parts counters, where operators can collect parts and receive technical advice from dedicated staff.
“Thompsons Total is now the brand name that brings all our aftermarket services together,” explains Scott Burton, Thompsons director.
“No other tipper bodybuilder comes even close to what Thompsons offers.”
