Trafficmaster focuses on vehicle productivity at CV Show 201309 April 2013

With the doors now open at the CV Show (9—11 April, NEC, Birmingham), Trafficmaster is drawing transport managers' attention to products such as its Teletrac Fleet Director, claimed to save up to 30% on fuel costs, reduce overtime by an average of 15%, increase driver productivity by 12% and reduce unauthorised vehicle use.

"Teletrac's advanced Telematics – which support its Smartnav satellite navigation, Trackstar stolen vehicle tracking and Fleet Director systems – can play a major role in cutting vehicle running costs, boosting productivity and cutting emissions," states Pat Gallagher, director of in-vehicle products.

Teletrac, Smartnav and Fleet Director Systems are focused on the same goal - integrated, intelligent driving services that reduce costs, improve efficiency and reduce carbon footprint, he explains.

And he adds that all of the products are backed by real-time traffic data in the form of Trafficmaster's network of 5,200 traffic sensors.

Teletrac's Fleet Director itself also now combines business intelligence technologies and safety analytics with two-way messaging, GPS vehicle tracking, navigation and Thatcham approved stolen vehicle tracking.

With this system, operations managers across a range of industries can run fleets more efficiently while simultaneously cutting costs and improving driver safety and productivity, he says.
