Transport Exchange moves freight trading on new dashboard 18 November 2015

Online freight trading service Transport Exchange says it expects to improve its users’ experience with the launch of an updated interactive dashboard that delivers all transport information in one place.

Transport Exchange managing director Lyall Cresswell says the new dashboard has been designed to save time and improve operational performance for hauliers, freight forwarders and logistics operators using the Exchange.

It simplifies and streamlines business and operational processes, he explains, building on the existing real-time user interface with additional functionality.

That includes live views of rolling financial data such as gross margins and subcontractor spend, allowing members to better monitor and understand profit levels and supplier costs.

It will also display a summary of latest bookings, and it has a supplier compliance management tool and quick links to commonly-used booking and feedback reports.

“The new dashboard will give members a richer, more interactive user experience, providing access to the most important reports and controls in one place,” comments Cresswell.

“It is part of our ongoing commitment to support our members with their day-to-day operations and help them grow.”
