TruckForce rolls out order for 69 Mercedes-Benz Sprinters06 July 2018

Truck tyre supplier and breakdown service TruckForce has taken delivery of 69 Mercedes-Benz Sprinters for its mobile technician fleet.

Supplied by dealer Midlands Truck & Van, the new additions are 314 CDI models and are powered by 141bhp engines.

TruckForce, which is owned by Goodyear Dunlop, acquired its first Sprinters seven years ago and the fleet now numbers 165. Most operate from its network of 13 centres across England and Wales, while others are allocated to technicians stationed permanently on site with its larger customers.

“The Sprinter is very popular with our technicians across the country, as well as being extremely reliable and hard-wearing,” says Bob Mason, TruckForce business manager.

“Equally important, though, is the quality of the aftersales support we receive from the manufacturer’s franchised network,” he adds. “Mercedes-Benz dealers are proper commercial vehicle specialists – they understand the pressures facing an operation like ours, and offer servicing outside normal working hours.

“This means our mobile tyre technicians can drop their vans off at the end of the working day so they can be maintained at night, then pick them up ready to start work again in the morning. It’s a facility that works very well for our business.”

The Sprinters are supplied with three-year, unlimited mileage warranties, as well as the manufacturer’s MobiloVan cover, which includes free, 24-hour emergency breakdown assistance.
