TruTac announces launch of TruFleet system at CV Show06 March 2020

Software provider TruTac will be unveiling a new fleet management system at the Commercial Vehicle Show (NEC, Birmingham; 28-30 April).

Called TruFleet, it is designed to help transport managers to plan, organise and control all aspects of fleet and O licence management.

Features include vehicle history, maintenance records, safety inspections, defect reporting, rectifications and audit checks.

As well as real-time updates on maintenance schedules, TruFleet provides online storage for compliance documents, interactive dashboards and alerts, and integrates fully with TruTrac’s other compliance control products.

The system shows all planned maintenance events, including inspections, MOTs, services, LOLER checks and repairs, and operators can add custom entries for full visibility. All weekly calendar events can then be viewed in detail, on one screen.

TruFleet also shows the numbers of authorised O licence vehicles and trailers against actual numbers, with a dashboard widget showing operating centres that are nearing or exceeding authorised numbers.

Jemma James, TruTac’s commercial director, says: “Fleet managers already have their work cut out. With TruFleet, we are helping O licence holders, managers and office personnel to stay compliant and on top of mandatory vehicle maintenance procedures, while focusing on the busy demands of running a transport business.”

As well as the TruFleet system, the company will also be showcasing new features for other products at the NEC, including the TruChecks driver app, part of TruTime, and mobile licence checks with TruLicence.
