TruTac unveils new tacho software at Euro Bus Expo26 October 2016

TruTac will be unveiling its upgraded tacho analysis software next week at the Euro Bus Expo (NEC, Birmingham; 1-3 November).

Called TruAnalysis, it is a revamped version of the company’s TruControl product – but engineers have redesigned the software to give instant analysis of digital tacho data, with dashboards, KPIs and automated summary reports.

The company says all strategic data is presented in an easy-to-assimilate format and can be instantly exported to a variety of formats – meaning managers can save time and money by having key resource data always at their fingertips.

The company has also announced the release of TruDocument, an online document management and storage system which cuts admin time, streamlines driver records (current and historical) and is compatible with working time procedures.

Using TruDocument, transport managers can scan and capture documents such as digital tachograph print-outs with handwritten notes, driver debrief forms or other paper items – giving managers access to all information in one secure digital portal.

The module is available now to all customers, by clicking on the TruDocument icon within the online portal. Up to 1Mb of free data storage per driver is available – more is chargeable.

Jemma James, director of commercial operations and marketing for TruTac, says the two new offerings “will revolutionise the transport office”, adding: “Compliance and control are TruTac watchwords and, with the arrival of TruDocument and TruAnalysis, our customers can be assured of even tighter management control in both respects.”
