TTS Support boosts efficiency with r2c Online22 May 2019

Mobile fleet repair business TTS Support is reporting cost and time savings, plus improved customer service, since implementing maintenance management software from r2c Online.

The Scunthorpe-based operator offers a 24/7 mobile service to commercial vehicle fleets and chose r2c Online to boost compliance and remove paper-based activities.

Engineers now input jobs directly to the system; the job is signed off and priced by the operations team, and the customer is billed automatically, thanks to the addition of the software provider’s i2i module for pricing and invoicing, alongside the main workshop management platform.

“All of our engineers find it simple and quick to use; they can have all the information sent to them on the move without having to call the office for updates throughout the day,” says Rick Balderson, director of TTS Support (pictured with Sarah Kennell of r2c Online).

“It makes life a lot easier with our engineers being on sites nationwide and being able to complete the service paperwork before they leave site. This gives us the edge for keeping our customers compliant and saves time in chasing manual paperwork.”

The addition of the i2i module “makes everything even more seamless”, he adds, with access to each vehicle’s maintenance and billing history in one place.

The time-saving benefits are stacking up, says Balderson. “We’re saving over five minutes per job with r2c, on 1,100 jobs a month, which totals around 100 hours in admin time.

“However, it’s not just the financial efficiencies that have benefited our business, it’s the improved service that we can provide to our customers.”

He adds: “Anyone that wants to grow as a repair agent will need software that can keep up with the demands – and I’d confidently say r2c is the system for the job.”
