UK team wows opposition in RTEC 201713 June 2017
A team from Woodwards Truck and Van Centre, Wigan, has taken third place in RTEC 2017, Renault Trucks’ international aftersales challenge.
Held in Lyon last month, 24 international teams took part in the final of RTEC (Road to Excellence Championship), which was won by Team Hannover, of Germany.
Woodwards’ team – called ‘Team Wow’ – was the highest place UK team, with Chiltern of Dunstable coming 9th.
The final followed a year-long challenge involving more than 1,400 teams from 49 countries.
In the final, each four-man team had to complete six 45-minute tests, performing complex maintenance and repair operations under real conditions.
