Van brands line up for CV Show 201611 February 2016

Leading van manufacturers are lining up to ply their wares at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2016 (NEC, Birmingham; 26—28 April 2016).

Already confirmed as exhibitors are Citroën, Fiat, Ford, Isuzu, Iveco, LDV, Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Toyota and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.

Volkswagen says it will be using the CV Show to exhibit its latest Transporter and Caddy vans, and some of its conversions.

Head of marketing Kirsten Stagg says: “We’re looking forward to being back at the CV Show. It’s great timing for us to consolidate the launches of the new Caddy and Transporter, as well as to meet customers and provide opportunities for our teams and those from our dedicated Van Centre network to build relationships.”

Also returning is Toyota, back at the CV Show for the first time in eight years.

Gareth Matthews, Toyota LCV manager, says: “The venue will provide us the perfect opportunity to demonstrate how we plan to increase Toyota presence and product line-up in the light commercial vehicle market.”

CV Show organisers say other exhibition highlights will include Mitsubishi, showcasing its L200 pick-up, and the return of the LDV name, with the new Chinese-built V80 panel van expected to make its UK debut.

Rob Skelton, CV Show director, says: “After an amazing 2015, which saw a record number of vans and light commercial vehicles being registered, it’s clear that vans and LCVs will be a major focus of this year’s show.

“It’s great to see some of the best-established names in the van industry returning to the most important show in the calendar for CV owners and operators.”
