Volvo Bus’ latest App caters to tablet customers20 June 2012

Volvo Bus UK has introduced an iPad App hot on the heels of its earlier iPhone App, aimed at keeping operators and stakeholders up-to-date.

Featuring tablet-ready data and display, the 'free to download' App takes advantage of the bigger format of the iPad, placing Volvo Bus information at users' finger tips – including a news and social media feed.

"Our commitment to new technologies to support increased operating efficiencies is a key part of our customer commitment," explains Steve Dewhurst, Volvo Bus UK managing director.

"The iPad platform is becoming an increasingly important business tool and this development is part of our continued drive to use new media proactively as we roll it out across an even wider platform during the year."
