Volvo Bus makes sure everything goes to Planit 16 July 2012

Kent-based tour operator Planit Travel has recently taken delivery of its third Volvo coach in the space of 12 months – a Volvo 9700 Prestige Plus.

Planit travel director Graham Tkaczyk, a former Scania and Setra salesman, turned to Volvo Bus to provide vehicles to support his growing private hire and tour operations.

"With my industry background, I'm fully aware of the sales market and what's out there," he explains.

"It's great to see healthy competition, but Volvo certainly had the edge on this occasion – mainly because they could provide a 53-seat tri-axle coach, with a toilet and guarantee us the quality back-up and support that we require," he adds.

The new coach features the rear-mounted Volvo B12B 13-litre engine connected to an I-Shift gearbox. Electronically controlled disc brakes (EBS), electronic stability program (ESP) and prominently positioned brakes lights add to the high safety benchmark established in the construction of this vehicle.
