Volvo points to above average MOT first-time pass rates 23 July 2013

Data published by VOSA reveals that Volvo Trucks' UK dealer network achieved a first-time national pass rate of 94.7% for MOT tests conducted in the five months of 2013.

This figure is 14.4% higher than the UK national average of just 80.3%, and, during this period, the Volvo dealer network conducted 7,280 MOT tests.

According to Volvo Trucks UK aftersales director Tony Davis, the result is due to Volvo's 'Science of Compliance' approach, which includes services aimed at keeping operators in the green band for VOSA's OCRS (Operator Compliance Risk Score) while also maximising vehicle uptime.

"We're passionate about helping operators achieve full compliance when it comes to meeting their 'O' licence obligations regarding maintenance," insists Davis.

"A first-time MOT pass rate of 94.7% demonstrates our commitment to compliance," he adds.
