“By introducing a 24-month warranty on Volvo selected used trucks and doubling the warranty on our Volvo approved used trucks from six-months to 12-months we are, I believe, once again ... setting a new standard,” he adds.
White explains that the 24-month warranty on Volvo selected used trucks also covers up to 360,000km, while Volvo approved used trucks get mileage cover doubled to 180,000km.
In both cases, the warranties also provide operators with immediate access to Volvo Action Service should there be a breakdown, he continues.
“At any point within 24-months of purchase a Volvo selected used truck customer will have access to recovery and support covered by the warranty,” he explains.
“Furthermore, as the warranty is manufacturer-backed, there is no limit to the number of call-outs or the value of claims.”
Volvo selected used trucks undergo a 200-point check and preparation before receiving the ‘Selected’ stamp of approval.
