VW Commercial Vehicles approves racking and storage range17 March 2015

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has launched a range of approved racking and storage systems that the firm says is aimed at all trades.

The company worked with UK aftermarket suppliers Sortimo and Rhino Products, and the resulting equipment is now available from Volkswagen's dedicated Van Centre network.

Systems from Rhino Products include roof racks, bars, pipe tubes and accessories designed specifically for commercial vehicles and now matched for Volkswagen's Caddy and Transporter.

Meanwhile, the Sortimo internal racking systems collection is flexible and modular, and designed for Caddy, Caddy Maxi and Transporter vans.

VW says this crash-tested equipment has been developed to be hard-wearing but extremely lightweight to help save on fuel and reduce CO2 emissions.
