VWS weighs in with offer for Red Forge customers22 January 2020

Vehicle Weighing Solutions says it is offering assistance to customers of Redditch-based Red Forge, which ceased trading on 11 December.

“Any operator or business owner who has existing Red Forge equipment installed or wishes to speak to someone about the situation can contact us and we will be happy to help in any way we can,” says Trevor Evans, operations director at Reading-based VWS.

VWS has also employed four of Red Forge’s staff – two fully qualified service engineers, plus a sales executive and a service coordinator.

“They are an excellent addition to our team and will help to support our new and existing customer base, as well as provide reliable and effective service for operators using other equipment providers,” adds Evans.

VWS provides on-board weighing, axle overload protection and bin-weighing equipment, including the Enviroweigh system, pictured.
