Westdijk boosts pan-European capability with Faymonville trailers06 October 2015

Dutch transport operator Westdijk has taken delivery of six semi-trailers from Faymonville in the past year for its Swedish operation, one of five across Europe.

Westdijk’s Gothenburg branch coordinates all Scandinavian deliveries: the first of the six units, delivered last year, was an 8-axle MultiMax semi-trailer, with double extension.

The trailer has pendle axles with flexible bearings, which can compensate for uneven ground by +/- 600mm.

Westdijk Sweden then ordered two 3-axle and two 4-axle MegaMAX semi-trailers, also equipped with pendle axles.

The MegaMAX boosts payload distribution, with a length-optimised loading area and low construction.

Completing the order is a Twin Axle II MultiMax semi-trailer, which has independent suspension to help negotiate tight turns, a maximum steering angle of up to 57° and a stroke of -70mm / +245mm.

The minimum loading height can be lowered to 780mm, allowing the transport of larger goods within permissible height standards.
