Supplied on a five-year contract hire by Refuse Vehicle Solutions (RVS), both of the new vehicles are based on Scania P320 chassis with Dennis Olympus bodies and Beta trade lifts. They are also equipped with Enviroweigh bin weighing technology, from Vehicle Weighing Solutions (VWS).
Wilrose has also purchased a 15-tonne DAF with NTM body from RVS, from the supplier’s quality used range.
“Our commercial trade waste collection business is growing extremely fast,” says Carey Bishop, director of Surrey-based Wilrose Environmental.
“RVS delivered the vehicles to meet our timescales, and we are delighted with the quality and branding.”
Wilrose also uses PurGo waste management software, from VWS. The system includes scheduling, route optimisation, exception reporting, live vehicle location and activity reports.
“We operate a range of refuse collection vehicles, skip lorries and hookloaders, and PurGo helps us to schedule routes more effectively, monitor rounds, collect weight data and invoice, as well as manage customer relationships. It’s a great time saver,” says Bishop.
