XPO Logistics extends deal with Renault Trucks18 April 2017
Global transport and distribution business XPO Logistics has signed a multi-million euro contract with Renault Trucks for a further two years.
XPO’s European headquarters are in Lyon, France, which is where the contract with Renault was signed last week (10 April) – Lyon is also one of three locations in France where Renault produces its trucks. The vehicles carry the ‘Guaranteed French Origin’ label, a certification awarded by the association ProFrance.
At the event, XPO also received the keys to its 2,500th Renault Trucks vehicle, which joins the fleet of Range D and Range T trucks.
Luis Angel Gomez, managing director for transport solutions–Europe at XPO Logistics, says: “The renewing of our longstanding collaboration with Renault Trucks is further proof of our desire to continue investing in a ‘Guaranteed French Origin’ fleet over the forthcoming years.”
