Young designers revealed for Volvo ‘Truck of the Future 2050’ 08 December 2014

A group of talented young designers is celebrating after winning Volvo Trucks' Truck of the Future 2050 competition.

The winners were announced last week (3 December) at the Freight Transport Association's Transport Manager conference, in Birmingham.

Winners of the age-related categories were: Luo Tong Sim (under 11); Barry Llewellyn (11-18); and Rhys Guy Llewellyn (over 18).

Runners up were: George Goodfellow (11-18) and Robert Hunt (over 18).

All the competitors have been invited to Volvo Trucks' head office, in Warwick, on 17 February to meet senior managers and see a display of their entries.

The three winners and two runners-up have also been invited to meet the Volvo design team in Gothenburg, in April 2015.
