Central Connect has welcomed 15 new Alexander Dennis Enviro200 low-emission buses and 11 new Enviro400 double deckers

Transport Made Simple was founded by university friends Peter Nathanail and Dominic Kalantary in 2016 as Vectare. In addition to consultancy and transport planning solutions for education providers and corporate clients, it has grown to offer a wide range of contracted passenger transport solutions from depots across the East Midlands, Essex & Hertfordshire and the East of England, with an extensive local bus network operated under the Central Connect brand.

The fleet for these services has been boosted in recent months with the addition of 15 new Alexander Dennis Enviro200 and 11 new Alexander Dennis Enviro400.

Each of the midibuses is 8.9m long and seats up to 30 passengers, while the 11.5m double deckers seat up to 85 passengers. All have been finished to a high standard including driver air-conditioning and mobile device charging points for passengers.

Peter Nathanail, group managing director for Transport Made Simple, said “The partnership between Alexander Dennis and Transport Made Simple proves that independent operators can deliver high quality transport services at scale.

"These buses are revolutionising the bus travel experience for our customers, benefiting a wide range of our customer base, from residents of rural communities across East Anglia to commuters making urban multi-modal public transport journeys in Greater London.

"The versatility of the product also makes them perfect for enabling us to continue to support our rail, aviation and corporate clients with a wide range of specialist and high volume passenger transport solutions.”

Simon Wood, regional sales manager for Alexander Dennis, said: “We’re proud to continue to support the Transport Made Simple Group as it develops its bus networks across England.

"Our versatile Enviro200 single decker has established itself as an important part of the Central Connect fleet, and we’re delighted to have extended our cooperation to double deck buses with 11 new Enviro400 that offer a large number of seats for the operator’s busy commuter bus services and commercial school bus network.”
