Bridgestone charts CV Show success with Axis contract

Tyre manufacturer Bridgestone says it believes its presence at last week’s Commercial Vehicle Show (14-16 April) will result in a “significant return on investment”, after the company made new contacts and signed a major fleet extension with Axis Fleet Management.

Bridgestone will now provide products and support for all of Axis Fleet Management's 1,500 trailers and 1,500 trucks – a boost to the existing contract, which saw it support 70% of the fleet.

Axis will be supported with the Total Tyre Care package, which includes tyre management and breakdown cover, as well as replacement fitments.

At the CV show, the manufacturer launched its Bridgestone Partner offer, which comprises 350 tyre specialists across the UK who can deliver the Total Tyre Care service to commercial vehicle fleet customers.
