Isuzu Truck reveals its fab four for the CV Show

Isuzu Truck has announced that the Euro 6 Isuzu 12-tonne gvw Forward will be making its début at the Commercial Vehicle Show (14-16 April, NEC, Birmingham) and will be one of four trucks on the manufacturer’s stand.

The Isuzu F120.240 4x2 rigid is designed to offer maximum versatility, with its compact size and low chassis height, as well as capacity of 7,952kg (body/payload).

The truck can be specified with either Easyshift or manual transmissions. It features a four-cylinder, 5.2-litre diesel engine, producing 240bhp power and 765 Nm torque.

Also making its début is the Euro 6 Urban N75.150(E) short wheelbase chassis, featuring a Brit-Tipp all-steel tipper body with a payload of 3,780kg.

The Urban is one of a series of pre-bodied tippers available off the shelf. Isuzu is rolling out a similar programme with Brit-Tipp for long wheelbase chassis with aluminium dropside bodies.

Completing the line-up will be two Forward N75.190 Euro 6 rigids – one for Argos and the other for HSS. Both have the Easyshift transmission.

The Argos 7.5-tonner – part of a 66-vehicle order – has an extended 5.3m wheelbase with demount body. The HSS vehicle is one of 19 for the business and features a dropside body with a 2-tonne cantilever tail-lift.
