The upgrade includes the installation of a robust 10-metre inspection pit manufactured from high-quality pre-fabricated steel in the Midlands. This inspection pit features a side access tunnel, ensuring safe entry and exit for maintenance personnel. Additionally, it is equipped with a pit jack, an oil drainer, and safety rails, which are said to enhance the efficiency and safety of maintenance procedures.
Complementing this installation, Totalkare has integrated an in-ground brake tester, shaker plates and headlamp tester into Les Searle Group's workshop.
Totalkare’s TK70 brake tester is DVSA-approved and designed to provide accurate and reliable brake performance analysis. With its in-ground installation, the TK70 ensures integration into the workshop environment, offering precise measurement of braking forces and efficiency. This enables Les Searle Group to identify and address brake issues.
According to Totalkare, the shaker plates are crucial for detecting suspension and steering system issues that might not be apparent during routine visual inspections. By simulating real-world driving conditions, the in-ground shaker plates help diagnose and rectify potential problems before they affect vehicle performance. Totalkare’s 2500 headlamp tester is claimed to provide precise adjustment and calibration of headlamps, ensuring optimal visibility and compliance with legal standards.
